I just got back from camping in Hocking and I thought I would let everyone know how the "course" in Athens was. As you might suspect from the title of this thread, I don't recommend going even if you are within the area. It really isn't even a course so much as eight or nine baskets plopped in the ground. There are no signs for the "course" and no form of tee boxes to throw from. Now that I have ranted, hopefully this is a topic we can keep going to warn or suggest to fellow golfers.

The 2 worst dud's I've played are Dublin, OH... no one really knows how to play the actual course, it was impossible to tell which tee pad went to which hole, and there is no course map... play it for fun, and decide for yourself which tee goes to which basket is about the best you can do. Ft. Shawnee near Lima... very short course... it'ld be a great course to introduce anyone to the sport... there is also a picnic shelter house. ../ T Q&A for bogey?¿ Where in the heck is Reedsville... it's not even on my atlas.... how was that course?
