Hello,
This is Lukas again. FlukeDogg@aol.com. This Organization is free of charge to join. Entering the BSDGA enters you in our bag tag competition free of charge. Numbers are assigned in the order that you join. Im trying to get sponsorhip from Discraft for the prize with 10 Misprinted discs and a bag. Hey, its free. This series ends 12:01 AM 1-1-05.
What we do is get different local businesses to donate gift certificate $50 $25 $10 and $5 for first through fourth as the prizes. The whole event is played open with a minimum $10 donation to, the United Way for example. 100% of this money goes to the charity. We will try to have a representative of the charity there to accept the money, this way the players see the money going to the charity and I dont get accused of skimming money.
Im looking for people from the different towns to do the organizing of donations from businesses since they live there. This would make it easier on me and my gas tank. I will make forms and have them mail the certificates to me. So, say you are the person for Upper Sandusky. I would ask you to try to get donations from say, Theils Wheels or Woody's or something of that nature.
The tour doesnt start till next year but we will have an inaugural (spelled right?) event at my place ,TBA, and a Fall event at Riverbend in Findlay, TBA. Right now we are looking at July 17th for the inaugural event but it is subject to change. We are in need of baskets in order to put this on. We have 3 and we need 3-4 more. If you or any of your buddys have practice baskets and are willing to help out please let me know. This event will be to raise money for more baskets. The Winner will get 10 misprinted Discs from Discraft. 2nd will get 2 Discs from GT Wheel of Findlay and 3rd will get 1 Disc form MC Sporting Goods of Findlay
The 9-hole at my place is for BSDGA members only. Their guests are allowed to have day passes. This is private property so you can play for money if you like, play night golf, and do all the other things that they frown on doing on public property. I'm working on getting a golf cart too....
If you have any comments, questions, or suggestion I would LOVE to hear them.
Thanks again,
The Bogeyman
